Police Visit

In April 2014, the children, educators, staff and parents took part in the ‘Police Visit’.  Constable Rachael Edgar Moore shared information with the children about the work of a Police Officer.

Con. Rachael is the Youth Liaison Officer for the Granville Police Station. Children quickly say that a Police Officer’s job is to “catch bad people and put them in jail” however Police Officers also want to give young children the message that their job is to help people and keep people safe!

Con. Rachael shared some safety rules with children and told them about Constable Charlie Penguin.

The children were able to take photos with the Police Officer and also take a photo while they were in her car. It was an exciting day for all involved.
